Lydia Makes Art

Three years ago, I decided to make my favorite hobby of creating art into an opportunity for entrepreneurship. By doing so, I was blessed with the unintentional creation of a community centered around a love of handmade art pieces. I began with selling Christmas tags that I hand cut, painted, hole punched, and packaged to a small group of extremely encouraging customers. Now, I am a high school student who is passionate about creating customized and curated pieces of art. I collaborate with each customer during the design process in order to make their vision come to life, whether it be a notepad or a piece of large dorm art. And I'm still selling holiday tags.
